It Is Safe to Visit Your Podiatrist?
We know you have had to make difficult choices during the COVID-19 pandemic and for many families, it has meant postponing some routine medical care. Happily, we’ve all adjusted to this “new normal,” and that includes some changes we’ve made in the way we do things at Podiatry Group of Annapolis, P.A. Anne Arundel County podiatrist Dr. James M. McKee and Dr. Adam Weaver want to assure you a visit to our office is safe, easy, and essential, especially for those who are living with diabetes, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), and other illnesses that put foot and ankle health at risk. Here are some of the steps we take every day to keep us as healthy as possible during this challenging time:
We request patients who do not require assistance to manage their appointment come unaccompanied to our office on Old Solomons Island Road.
We ask that patients check-in by phone and wait in their cars.
We space out appointment times and sanitize exam rooms in between patient visits.
Hand sanitizer is always available for your use.
We screen everyone for COVID symptoms upon arrival.
All patients must always wear face masks.
Our doctors and office staff wear masks and other PPE (personal protective equipment).
Sadly, we can’t shake your hand when we introduce ourselves, but you can trust we are greeting you with a smile under our masks.
Healthy feet, ankles, and lower legs will make it possible for you and everyone in your family to stand, walk, exercise, and go about your daily living activities with comfort and ease. Regular visits with an expert podiatrist like James M. McKee, DPM, FACFAS, and Adam Weaver DPM are the best way to make sure this part of your body remains free from illness or injury.
